The Millefiori Honey of the Monastery Dominus Tecum of Pra'd Mill is appreciated for its delicacy. It is in fact slightly less sweet than traditional millefiori honeys, given the natural prevalence of chestnut honey, typically bitter. Beekeeping, in the Monastery of Pra'd Mill, had a very curious beginning. The spontaneous occupation of the portico of the monastery by a swarm of wild bees inspired the monks to start their own beekeeping activity. Thanks to the biodiversity of the valley, which offers a great variety of trees and wild flowers, this area is ideal for the production of honey.
