The Lavandin essential oil produced by the Cistercian nuns of the Abbey of Rieunette (France) has calming and antiseptic properties; it can be used in the diffuser to remove mosquitoes and small insects and purify the air.
Lavandin (Lavandula Hybrida) is a plant obtained from the crossing of Lavender Vera (or angustifolia) and Lavender Spica (latifolia) of which there are several variants which all have the characteristic of preferring flat and hilly climates and allow abundant extraction of essential oil from their flowers.
The properties of the cultivated variant Lavandin Super with organic methods by the nuns of the Abbey of Rieunette (Provence), they are similar to those of Lavender Vera: the oil they extract has balsamic, antiseptic and calming and an unmistakable intoxicating scent completely similar to that of the two wild plants from which it derives.
