The Sanctus of the monks of the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore is a Mass wine for liturgical celebrations, according to the requirements of Can. 924 §3 of the Code of Canon Law and all the ecclesial prescriptions on the subject.
Monks of the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore have been producing wine for Holy Mass for more than 700 years in the wake of the Benedictine tradition and in fidelity to the indications of the Holy See regarding the processing of grapes and the preparation of wine to be used for the Eucharistic Sacrifice.
