The Red Currant Jam of the Cistercian monks of the Dominus Tecum Monastery in Pra'd Mill (Cuneo) is produced with the very small fruits collected in the summer in the woods around the monastery, shelled and selected by hand by the monks.
Produced with only pulp, the result is a sweet jelly with a carmine red color and a slightly sour taste.
Ingredients: red currant, sugar, lemon juice. Fruit used 80g per 100g of finished product. Total sugars 50g per 100g. Preservative free.
