The Apple and Raisin Jam from the Germagno Monastery is handcrafted by the monks, without added additives, using Italian apples and raisins that add that extra touch of gluttony and particularity.
Excellent for filling tarts or as a base for the strudel filling.
The monks also suggest trying it as a topping on Malaga ice cream or zabaglione, diluting it with a drop of liqueur or Marsala.
Ingredients: apples, sugar, raisins, lemon juice.
