Description

The Comfrey oil (macerated) of the Cistercian nuns of the Abbey of Rieunette (France) is indicated for the treatment of irritated and chapped skin, burns, strains, sprains, muscle pain. The comfrey plant collected by the nuns and left to macerate (a process that consists precisely of soaking in the sun or in a bain-marie, with consequent filtration), helps tissue regeneration, but also to stimulate bone consolidation and repair.

How to use: spray on the affected area, spreading lightly, as much as necessary.

External use only for short periods (not to exceed 2 months a year) because comfrey contains pyrrolizidine, a substance that can, in high doses, be toxic to the liver.
