Products of the monasteries of the Trappist Order

The Trappist Order is a community of the Cistercian Order of the Strict Observance and belongs to the monastic movement that follows the Rule of St Benedict. The Trappist monks and nuns put their lives at the service of prayer and work, as part of a community life. A small percentage of the production of the abbeys is destined for personal use, while the rest is sold and the proceeds are used to meet the needs of the monastic community. There are many products made by the Trappist monks: beers, biscuits, chocolate, jams, cheese, liqueurs, honey, oil, bread and many others.
