Raisin wines are wines made from grapes naturally dehydrated in the vineyard. Raisin wines are produced by using the same production techniques of traditional red or white wines, however they have a very different taste and are generally used to accompany desserts. Some abbeys have specialized in the production of dessert wines, such as Borbotto Passito di Camaldoli.
