The Trappist Chimay Red Stopper Beer was the first beer ever brewed in Notre-Dame de Scourmont Monastery. Characteristics of this beer are its intense fruity aroma and mahogany red colour. As a result, it has fruity notes of undergrowth on the palate and, after a first sweet hint of malt, is balanced by the pleasant bitterness of hops._x000D_
