Description

The Borbotto Rosso IGT wine of the Monks of Camaldoli is made from Sangiovese, Canaiolo, black Malvasia and Merlot grapes and is aged for 12 months in the historic vaulted cellar in centuries-old chestnut barrels from the forest of Camaldoli. The result is a red wine of medium structure, fresh and with scents reminiscent of red berries.

From the vineyards on the Casentino hills and the centuries-old oenological experience of the Monks of Camaldoli, this red wine produced by Coop is born. Agricola e Forestale "La Mausolea", a certified organic farm. Recommended pairings: wine for the whole meal, especially for first and second courses based on red meats, cold cuts and fresh cheeses.
