Products of Notre-Dame d'Orval Abbey
Notre Dame d'Orval Abbey is a Cistercian monastery founded in 1132 on Belgium, in the Walloon region. A legend says that the name was given when Matilda of Canossa, visiting the place, lost her wedding ring in a river. After a prayer, a trout appeared on the surface with the ring in its mouth and so Matilda exclaimed "This is a golden valley". This is why the symbol of the abbey shows a trout. The monks have always been involved in the production of Trappist craft beers. Discover the products of the abbey Notre-Dame d'Orval that we have selected for you.
