Spencer Trappist Beer, the first and only American Trappist beer brewed in Massachusetts by the monks of St. Joseph's Abbey.
_x000D_The recipe for this beer is inspired by the traditional Belgian monastic refectories' traditional beers. These seasonal beers are braised by the monks for their dinners and are usually consumed inside the monastery. Spencer Trappist Ale is a full-bodied beer, golden in colour and fruity with a dry, slightly bitter finish. This beer is neither filtered nor pasteurized, which allows the natural preservation of the ferments that over the months allow it to mature and taste better.
Not filtered. Not pasteurized.
